What Kind Of Planner Do You Use?
I wrote a blog post not too long ago about my love/obsession with planners – digital and paper. I had a great response from others who love their planners as much as I do so today I’m asking you: What is your favorite type or brand of planner?
First, I have a digital planner. Well, if you count Google Calendar, I have two. Google is used mainly as a family calendar so Jeff and I both know what’s going on with our busy schedules. Then on my digital planner, I can plan, journal, decorate, be creative and stay organized with all the activities I have going on.
Even though I love all things digital (that’s the geeky side of me!) I like to have a paper backup. I know it sounds like a lot but really isn’t. Just stay with me here. I have a Happy Planner that I’m currently using until I settle on what kind of paper planner I really like.
There are so many to choose from these days. The Happy Planner, Erin Condren, Martha Stewart, Staples Arc, DayTimer, Franklin Planner – this is just a smidgen of what’s out there! Right now I’m checking them all out though when I was younger I used DayTimer and Franklin Planner only because they were the only good planners out there.
It might sound crazy to try and look at all these systems but my goal is to put together my own planner using something from each that appeals to me. A totally customized planner! It seems that each planner has something that appeals to me but doesn’t quite fit all my needs. Some people call a combined planner like this a “FrankenPlanner”! LOL! I’m hoping to share a YouTube video soon showing what I’ve put together for my own use. Maybe it will work for you too or inspire you to create your own!
So what kind of planner are you using right now? Digital or Paper or both like me? I’d love to know. Happy Planning!
