What Is Something That Gives You Energy???

Where do you find your energy?

I saw this question not too long ago. It was posed in a list of topics for you to write about in your journal and I thought it would make a great blog post.

So what does give you energy? I would think some people would say things like energy drinks, caffeine, the food you eat, exercising, etc. But honestly, none of these items crossed my mind at first. My immediate thought was all about completion.Energy, Relax, Relaxation, Self-Care

I can just hear it: Completion? Seriously? I promise that is what I thought of and here is why. When I finish a big project I’m working on, I feel a sense of “Wow, I’m glad that is done” and suddenly I get this surge of energy to go head first into my next project. I guess it’s the feeling of completion, of seeing a goal or project finished that gives me that “oomph” to go forward to the next thing I want to tackle. To me it feels so fantastic that I completed something that I want to feel it again – thus the surge of energy to keep on keeping on.

I know that when you first read that question, you were probably thinking about physical energy and I have to say when I don’t eat sugar, get out in nature and drink a ton of water, I feel more energetic. But completing a project just feels so good that it creates the confidence to keep reaching for those goals.

So what gives you energy???

Big Hugs Everyone!
