Here in the United States, this is Thanksgiving Week. This Thursday we will share dinner with family and friends, talking about the things we are thankful for.
Are You Ready For Thanksgiving?
I’ve heard from several people they aren’t sure what they have to be grateful for this year. I have to admit 2020 has challenged all of us in ways we couldn’t have imagined, but amongst the chaos there is good. Things that have made a positive impact on our lives.
You might think I’m crazy, but if you take time to really look back on this year, I’m sure you will find little golden nuggets of happiness or success or accomplishments. Sometimes it’s hard to see these things when we are surrounded by difficult circumstances, but they are there.
Your Journal Prompt!
So, this week I only have one journal prompt for you. It is one question you can ask yourself every day this week. Even if you live outside the States and don’t celebrate this holiday, this is still a great exercise for your journal time. Ponder this question daily and write out your thoughts. I think you may be surprised about what appears on your paper.
Here is the journal prompt for the week:
*What are you grateful for – what are you thankful for?
That’s it. The only question you need for journaling this week. It’s a powerful one, a prompt that can really be repeated every day of the year. But first, see what you find out about yourself this week.
So Thankful for All Of You!
