Welcome to October!
October is officially here. Can you believe it? Honestly I can’t. Like I said before, this year has flown by but now we are entering into the excitement of the holiday season.
I love this time of year! The temperatures are starting to get a bit cooler (just a tiny bit but we’ll take it), there are pumpkin patches showing up everywhere, and Christmas advertising will be starting before Halloween even arrives. And yes – the Hallmark Christmas movies start this month (yes, I love them even if they are cheesy at times).
But other changes are happening too. As of this blog post, I have written 185 posts in a row! And have loved every minute of it. I set a goal in March to write for 90 days straight but once I hit that goal I kept going. I’m so glad that I did now because I’ve enjoyed sharing things with you from new books, inspirational posts, general information, new things to do, and most of all my love for the coastal lifestyle.
So my website and blog are now going to be a combination of a book and lifestyle website and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m always going to be writing novels and I’m even currently in the planning stages of a non-fiction book. But I also have always wanted to have a website where I can share all the fun, relaxation and excitement of living on the coast. I’m blessed to have lived in Charleston since I was 3 years old. The Lowcountry is full of history, we have wonderful beaches, relaxing rivers and so many fun things to do around here that sometimes it’s hard to keep up.
Living a coastal lifestyle is more than just the beach. It includes recipes, DIY projects, crafts, life hacks, geeky gadgets and more. It’s things I’m so interested in and I think you might like this info too! From the emails and comments I’ve received over the last 180+ blogs I think you’ll love it.
You might see some things changing here and there as you visit the site over the next weeks. Just know that you can always email me or leave a comment if you need any assistance. The Shop is still open for signed book orders, t-shirts, mugs, tote bags and more.
Thanks for your patience as I make this slight transition but I can’t wait to share my life as an author living on the coast.
Big Hugs Everyone!
