So let me ask you a few questions: Do you enjoy holding a book in your hand as you read? What about a tablet or smartphone where you can carry many books with you and read anywhere you go? Or how about listening to your favorite book on audio while traveling or doing the dishes?
I’m a little torn here. I love holding a book in my hand. There is something about turning pages, using highlighters to mark passages that hold meaning to me and so much more. I love going to the library, seeing the rows of books on the shelves and even the smell of the books themselves.
Then there is the multitude of books on my Kindle app on my iPad. I love that I have so many books at my fingertips and can refer to them so quickly. The ease of having so many books to choose from while traveling or just out and about is so nice. Carrying an iPad is much easier than an arm full of books.
But I love audiobooks too. Especially when I’m cooking, crocheting, etc. I feel like I get lost in a story or learn something new while I’m doing a repetitive task. They are really great on road trips!
So which is your favorite? I’m kind of split between all three – there is something about each form of reading that I like. Let me know what you think!
