My Favorite “Candy” Stores”: Apple And Staples!

I figured since it was Halloween time that I would talk about candy, but my “candy” is not the sweet stuff.

To start with I love shopping online! I mean REALLY LOVE IT! Get great prices, have it shipped to me and I don’t have to go out of the house? Sign me up! But around the holidays it’s a bit different. Especially the day after Thanksgiving: Black Friday. So during the holidays, I do visit stores in person, but the Internet is still my friend for Christmas shopping too!

The exceptions to the above statement are two stores I go to whenever I can. I call them my “candy” stores because I love going for a visit. They are the Apple Store downtown and Staples.

You might be scratching your head thinking “Huh?” but there is a reason for this.Apple. Apple Store, Apple Products, iPhone, iPad, Macbook

First of all, I LOVE Apple products. Now I’m not saying any other brands are not good, but I’m just an Apple girl and have been for almost ten years. iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Mac Mini, Apple TV. We are an Apple household. I think the only Apple product I don’t own is the Apple watch and that’s because I don’t like wearing watches. Apple products bring out my inner geek, and when we go walking downtown, if we are near the Apple store I have to step in, if only for a moment. I know it sounds weird, but it’s just how I’m wired.

My other “candy” store is Staples. Yep, the good ole office supply store. But I’ve loved these stores since I was a little girl. When my mom would take me shopping, I didn’t want to go to the toy department. I wanted the office supplies. That’s right! I love blank notebooks and journals, colored pens, pencils, post-it notes, planners, and more. When it’s back to school time? Oh boy! I usually find all kinds of things. I almost wish they had an “office supply list” for adults – you know like the school supply lists they give the kids that time of year. How cool would that be! Well, I think it would be neat, but then I love that stuff.

So since I’m not suppose to have real candy due to my condition, I consider the above my “candy” stores. I enjoy going and looking even if I’m not buying anything. Yes, that’s just me!

Now I ask you: 1. Do you like to shop online?  2. What are your favorite stores and why?

Big Hugs!
