This past Thursday, my husband and I got to attend a book event at Buxton Books where we met and talked to Chef/Author Jennifer “Jenny” Brule! Oh and also got to taste some very delicious vegetarian food.
Jenny is the author of two cookbooks: “Learn To Cook 25 Southern Classics 3 Ways” and her newest cookbook that we were celebrating at the event: “The New Vegetarian South.” Jenny is the owner and chef at the Davidson Ice House in Davidson, NC. She has made cooking videos for the Food Network, developed recipes for numerous magazines including Cooking Light and Shape plus she is a regular on several TV shows. But let me say that looking through Jenny’s cookbook made me want to start experimenting and trying out some new foods right away! Every recipe pictured looked so yummy!
