Some time ago, I mentioned in a blog post I was starting to use a paper planner again. I’ve been using a digital one for a while but I missed writing things down. Plus, with the new planners and the creativity surrounding them, I was super intrigued. So I decided to use both a paper planner and digital. A bit over the top? Maybe but I like the versatility that both give me. But today I wanted to talk about my paper planner.
When I researched the paper planner options, I was amazed at what was available! When I used one before it was either DayTimer, Franklin Covey or a monthly planner combined with a spiral notebook (which these are all still good options). As a matter of fact, I found my old planners from the ‘90s!!!! I’ll have to take a picture and show you how I use them.
But now the different types are so different! From spiral bound, disc bound or ring binder, there is so much you can do. For someone like me that likes all that creative stuff, it can be a bit overwhelming. I’ve been trying to catch planner supplies on sale and buy a few things at a time, seeing what I like to use. Can you tell by the picture? And that is just a FRACTION of the things I’ve accumulated to date as I go back to my paper planner and journal more.
I’m starting a new page on my website under the “Lifestyle” section called “Plan With Me” where I’ll be talking about all things “Planner” related. You’ll also see blogs pop up about planners, tips and more. This is separate from the journaling prompts and books (more news on that soon too!) but rest assured: I’m working on my latest novel “Camping in High Heels: Niagara Falls” due out this Fall. Just having a bit of fun with the planners and journals, two things I’ve loved since I was a little girl.
Let me know if you use a paper planner and if so which one!
