I’ve been blogging for almost seven months now, every single day, but I’ve hit a wall: every topic I thought about writing about today just didn’t sit well with me for some reason. I was getting frustrated and figured out why I had hit this block: it’s just been one of “those” days. So why not write about it!
Today has been hectic. Someone coming to do some work at our house showed up late, another tech didn’t show up at all, a project due I turned in late, doctor appointments for family members that concerned me and then to top it all off, me having multiple reactive symptoms to either a chemical they put on my house today or a food I ate (needless to say I’m not feeling my best). Yes, it’s been one of “those” days.
But with all that being said, it wasn’t terrible either. First of all the weather was absolutely beautiful outside. I got to work on two new books I’m developing. I cooked and froze some food for quick lunches/dinners for later. I started working on a new website project. I watched the Apple Event today (new iPad Pros – YAY!) and listened to my fav podcasts. I spent some time with the hubs when he got home and got to talk via FaceTime to my best friend.
I guess what I’m trying to say is even when things are hectic and don’t seem to be going your way, if you take just a little time to think about and remember your day, there are those bright moments that outshine the icky stuff. Those are the moments to concentrate on.
