Family Comes First

[Sassy_Social_Share]

Sometimes you have to take a little more time for your family. This is certainly true for me right now.

In the early hours this past Thursday, my mom was admitted to the hospital with severe breathing issues. Then just a few hours later, my husband had to have an extensive dental procedure. Later on in the day (just after I finished my live Q&A session on Facebook and Instagram) I learned that my step-daughter was in the ER with back issues. To say it was a hectic, busy day is putting it mildly.

But I kept going. Though I still followed through on my major plans, some things I had on my to do list for the day got put on hold instead. Family comes first around here and I had several family members that needed me. Was it hard to move those items to another day when I had already planned to get things done? You bet but my family is much more important.

I watched my “Live” social media session from the other night and frankly, I wasn’t too happy with it. I had a blast in the moment but I was not my usual self because of all the issues that were weighing heavily on my mind for my family members. I want to thank everyone who attended the online event and apologize for not giving it my best. I plan to do another soon, hopefully be a bit more organized and able to articulate my thoughts better.

Anyway, I hope that you are having a great weekend and here’s a reminder: love up on your family! Give out some extra hugs and kisses this weekend!

Big Hugs!
