Are you are a list maker like me? I LOVE lists! If I didn’t have them, I’m sure I would be lost.
This list obsession started when I was a little girl. I was a sucker for a blank notebook that I would take fill it up with all kinds of stuff including lists. As I got older, making a to-do list was the only way I got things done during the day and I still make one each morning. I have to admit that even with my list of to-do’s, I sometimes miss my goal of getting things done but at least by having it written down, I can transfer my item to the next day’s list.
Now there is more to list making. Have you heard of Bullet Journaling? This is still very new to me but it combines list making and journaling creatively. What I like about this method is that you have one book that combines your lists and a way to write about what you did throughout the day. I’m just in the beginning stages of trying this method of organizing so I’ll let you know how it goes. If it’s successful you might see me teaching a class on it!
In Bullet Journaling there are kinds of lists you can make:
*Daily to do list
*Books to read
*Places to visit
*Recipes to try
*Crafts to make
*Movies to watch
And this is only a very tiny sampling of the lists that people make who use a Bullet Journal. I’m excited about trying out this method because you are also encouraged to decorate your journal/planner which is exactly the kind of thing I like to do.
So let me know if you are a list maker too and if so what method of planner/journal you use!
