Live Life With Gratitude
Not too long ago I wrote a blog about keeping an Accomplishments List. But do you keep a Gratitude Journal?
A few years ago I kept one. Well, it really was part of the daily journal I kept for my doctors and myself so we could figure out a thing or two about my medical issues. I included 3 things I was grateful for each day. I can look back now and smile at some of the items I put on those lists. Sometimes it would be something extraordinary and other times a simple little gesture.
Now I’m starting again but this time I’m trying it as part of a Bullet Journal. I’ve had so many people tell me that if you like to be creative that you just have to try Bullet Journaling. After I did a bit of research, I have to say the idea has intrigued me. I started decorating mine last night and it was fun. Once I get the hang of it and can show you some of my completed pages maybe I’ll do a video.
Back to the Gratitude Journal. I know that there are so many things – people, places, events, relationships and more – that we take for granted. In this busy world it’s hard not to but I really want to change that in my little corner of the world. Part of my new journal will be a place for my Gratitude List. I think I’m going to stick to 3 things each day but if more than appear on my page, so be it.
