Can You Believe I’m STILL Not Organized?

Getting Organized Is  Definitely A Process!

A while back I wrote about my quest to get more organized in my life. I have definitely made some progress but admittedly I’m still working on this project.

It’s not that my home is overrun by mounds of “stuff” (ok – my computer is the exception) but I have the distinct problem of getting distracted. VERY EASILY! So I have piles here and there that need my attention but then something else captures my attention and away I go.

Crafts, Papercrafts, Organize, Getting OrganizedLast night I was determined to finish just one project – a small one at that – just to feel a sense of accomplishment. Even though I started a little late in the evening, I kept at it till my little craft bag was organized and useable. This is a bag, well 2 bags that I can use to transport items I’m working on from room to room. Though I like to work in my writer/art nook, it’s a bit, shall we say “messy” right now. So this bag that I had wanted to put together for the last two weeks has been sitting in numerous piles in my bedroom. Every time I would see the items on the floor I cringed. But last night I’d had enough and within 1 hour, I was done. I knew where my papers, stickers, pens, notebooks, journals, etc., was and IT FELT SO GOOD!  I almost wanted to start on something else but instead decided that one project was enough for the day. Plus I wanted to put a puzzle together on the new iPad app I have (it’s so addicting!).

So I am still working on organization around my house. I honestly thought that all the little projects would be done by now, just in time for Fall and the holidays with the decorating and fun times to come. But I’m beginning to wonder if all the projects ever do get done. I believe they do but once one is finished another pops up to take its place. I really think this is just called life. There will always be something to do, something to try, someplace to go. And that’s it’s okay by me.

Happy Vibes To All!
