I’m so pumped up about something new I’m going to be doing starting this Sunday, March 31st: Daily Journal Sparks (prompts)!
I’ve shared with you before how much I love journals. I’ve kept many various types or styles over the years: food, feelings/emotions, travel, scrapbooks, drawing, etc. So starting Sunday on Facebook and Instagram, I’ll be giving you daily journal prompts or what I call a “Spark”. If you’re not on either platform just check Sunday’s blog post for all the “journal sparks” for the upcoming week.
Plus, in later posts, look for more journaling fun. I’ll be talking about different types of journals, ways to journal and more. There is so much to journaling and you just have to find the best fit for you. Find a way that when you journal is it fun, relaxing, and something you look forward to every day. We’ll go into more detail later.
I also wanted to explain why I’m using the word “spark”. Journal prompts are to help you write down your thoughts – daily if possible. But sometimes, you can feel like you have nothing to write about. My goal is to “Spark” your imagination and make journaling all your own.
So today I want to give a prompt to show you what I’m going to be doing. I hope these “journal sparks” will help you discover new things in your life: feelings, emotions, discover something about your past, find a new passion in life and so much more.
Today’s “Spark”: What makes me happy?
Have fun with the “spark” and let your mind wonder. Don’t censor yourself – just write or maybe even draw what you are thinking. You’ll be amazed at what you might discover. If you don’t currently own a journal, any notebook will do. You can even decorate it later, something I’ll be talking about in future posts. Have fun!
