So I thought I would “interview” another character – this time from my new novella “The Keys to Montana”! Pleased to introduce you to Seth – hope you enjoy!
Me: Hey Seth! How are you doing?
Seth: Awesome! Especially now!
Me: You look pretty happy. What is so special right now?
Seth: Am I allowed to say?
Me: Well, I think I know what you are so excited about but we need to keep it under wraps for now.
Seth: But everyone can read about it right?
Me: Sure, but I’ll give that info later. Let’s get back to you. So you are in Montana now, right?
Seth: Sure am, right here at my family’s ranch.
Me: At least it’s cooler up there than in the Keys this time of year.
Seth: Well, it can get pretty warm up here but the Florida Keys are pretty hot. But that doesn’t bother me. Especially when Ella is there with me.
Me: Ella is definitely used to the weather there.
Seth: That’s for sure! I remember when we met: I was melting since I wasn’t used to the temperatures and she wasn’t even sweating. But then again, she always looks great.
Me: But she has lived there for a long time. But how is she….. Oops! I almost let the cat out of the bag!
Seth: You did! If I can’t say anything then you can’t or at least not yet.
Me: Sorry about that!
Seth: No problem.
Me: Do you think that you would ever like to live in the Florida Keys, leaving the ranch in Montana behind?
Seth: I really don’t know. I love the Keys plus my dad and his wife, Josie, live in Marathon. I never thought my dad would ever leave Montana and he did so maybe I could someday. I have to admit that I would surely miss the snow.
Me: Really? Most people are happy about leaving the cold weather behind.
Seth: I guess you could say I love the cold and the hot. Honestly, though, wherever Ella is, that’s where you’ll find me.
Me: Sounds like things are pretty serious between you two.
Seth: Let’s just say she is pretty special to me. So much that we had a crazy mixed up adventure.
Me: I heard about it and decided to write your story.
Seth: Good! I have to admit at the time, I was a bit frustrated but – nah, I’m not going to say anymore. I’ll let everyone read about it.
Me: Well, thanks Seth for taking the time to chat.
Seth: No problem! Hope everyone out there enjoys the story!
I was glad I was able to “interview” Seth from “The Keys to Montana”. I had so much fun writing Seth and Ella’s story, even if it was only a small part of their tale. If you would like to read “The Keys to Montana” for free, just click here!
