Wow- what a trip! I’ve been home almost a week since finishing my book tour through Florida and the Florida Keys. Let’s just say it was terrific. Bright sunshine, awesome temperatures, crystal clear aqua water, sand between my toes – I could go on and on. BUT – my new novel “A Wedding in the Keys” actually debuted in Key West! How cool!
Ever since my third “Florida Keys” novel, I’ve wanted to have a book released while I visited the Keys and also wanted to display my novels on Mallory Square in Key West. And guess what? I got to do both on this trip. WooHoo!
I met so many wonderful people – new readers and awesome fans – who made the trip even more special. Their wonderful reception of my new novel and of me, my husband and my special pup, Emma, was just amazing and made us feel so welcomed.
Now I’m back home, already working on two projects: a new novella that will be part of the “Florida Keys Novels” and book four of the series “Camping in High Heels” where Kate travels across the north west to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, two of my favorite places.
During this trip I did talk to several readers who asked me to blog a bit more about my life, the writing process, how I deal with an invisible illness and much more. I gave it some thought and it sounds like a great idea to me! So look for more blog posts – long and short – about things I find fun, quirky, incredibly awesome or just information that I find totally interesting.
Once again, I can’t thank everyone enough for your incredible support. Love you all!
Florida Keys Fun!
