7 Fun Ideas To Enjoy This Fall Season

It’s Fall Ya’ll!

We are only into our second day of October and I’m already finding plenty of things to do this season. With the weather eventually cooling down, there are a plethora of ideas I can think of that would be loads of fun.

Apples, Fruit, Apple Picking, Apple OrchardHere are just a few suggestions:

*Apple Picking! This is a perfect way for the family and you to have some fun and get to bring home some fresh goodies. Plus most places have other activities that are Fall related for everyone, child or adult.

*Go for a Hay Ride! These are so much fun especially when you have family and friends on board.

*Collect those stunning fall leaves! As soon as you have your favorite colored leaves, preserved them. Click here to give you ideas on how to keep your leaves pretty.

*Start your Christmas shopping! This is the perfect time to start getting those gifts or starting making them. That way, when the Christmas season starts, you are either finished or ahead of the game and can relax with family and friends during this special time of the year.

*Attend a Fall Festival! I know this time of year, here locally, we have all kinds of events like Oktoberfest and our local county fair. Go and have some fun!

*Decorate your home. Right now, you can use pumpkins, fall leaves and Halloween decorations. Then Christmas will be here before you know it. I have a tendency to put up Christmas decorations early (mid-November) just so I can enjoy them a bit longer. My Fall decorations are already being enjoyed by us and those that visit.

*Make a family gratitude list! Find a place (the refrigerator is a good spot) where you and your family members can add to an ever-growing gratitude list. Make sure you have several sheets of paper with pen nearby. It’s fun to add the things your grateful for plus you get to read what others have written down. After the season is over, date it and tuck it away. But I think this is an activity we can use all year long!

This is just a short list of ideas you can do to make the Fall season more special. Look in your local community for events that sound like something you and your spouse or family would enjoy and take the time to make memories.
